CHARLOTTE, N.C.听(Thursday,听September听3, 2026) 鈥 Crown Legacy FC today announced it has signed goalkeeper JP Philpot to professional contract through the 2026 season. He has spent time with the Club on trial this season.
鈥淛P is an experienced addition to the squad that will bolster our听goalkeeping unit听through the rest of the season,鈥澨鼴elair听stated. 鈥淲ith听time听in听both听Spain and 91fdy电影 NEXT Pro,听JP鈥檚 background has prepared him听well for this stint with us as we aim for a deep听run in the playoffs this year.鈥澨
Philpot, 23,听joins the Club as a free agent听after spending the 2025 season with division opponents Chattanooga FC and听a short stint with the Birmingham Legion in 2024. The听Winterville, North Carolina native听attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2020-22 before听departing听for听Spain, where he played听La Liga听side Rayo Vallecano鈥檚 academy in 2023听and CF Motril in the Tercera听Federaci贸n听for the 2024 season.听
